yvovietnam: digitising a martial-heritage health tradition without ever diagnosing anyone
Y Võ Trật Đả is centuries of Vietnamese traditional medicine and martial heritage, passed down informally between lineages. yvovietnam's job is to preserve and structure it — with a strict, deliberate line it will not cross.
The problem: real heritage, fragmented and undocumented
Traditional Vietnamese martial-medicine (Y Võ Trật Đả) carries genuine clinical and cultural value — but historically it’s been passed lineage-to-lineage, “bí truyền” style, with no shared system for recording or teaching it. That’s a preservation problem as much as a product one: the knowledge risks fading with the generation that holds it.
yvovietnam is BIXSO’s independent-brand project (Green + gold) built with — and credentialed by — Tiến sĩ, Lương y, Đại võ sư Võ Khai Nghiệp, built to structure that knowledge into something a platform, and the next generation, can actually use.
The line we hold
This is the one product in the BIXSO ecosystem operating inside health law, and we’re explicit about the boundary: yvovietnam’s AI is wellness information only — it never diagnoses, cures or prescribes. The platform runs two distinct agent roles to enforce that split structurally, not just by prompt instruction:
- Wellness guide — answers everyday wellness questions and surfaces heritage training content, informational only.
- Triage router — recognises when a question is actually clinical, and routes it to a qualified professional instead of answering it itself.
That’s a decentralised, federated domain-AI pattern by design — no single agent is allowed to hold both the “helpful assistant” and the “medical authority” role at once.
What’s live
The platform (Next.js 16 + React 19 frontend, Express backend, Expo mobile — three independent
repos) runs a seeded content baseline: sample experts, wellness news, courses, a Q&A section, a
resource library and training syllabus — enough for the community features to be genuinely
demoable, not empty scaffolding. Both frontend (yvovietnam.org) and backend /health are live
and passing checks; the codebase is TypeScript-clean.
Why it matters beyond one app
yvovietnam is proof that BIXSO’s method — business model, then business analysis, then agentic AI — holds up even in a regulated, culturally sensitive domain, where the discipline isn’t “ship fast,” it’s “know exactly where the AI’s authority ends.”
